2024-2025 Spiritual Theme Design Day
The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is excited to invite Grade 7 through 12 students across the school board to help design the poster for the 2024-2025 Spiritual Theme, ‘Living in Hope’. Each year, the spiritual theme encourages us to make real, meaningful, and faith-filled connections every day. The theme for the 2024-2025 year is inspired by the Jubilee Year that has been announced by Pope Francis. In a letter written by Pope Francis, he writes, “We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us, and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision.”
Students who complete the online interest form using their student email addresses have the chance to participate in an exciting experiential learning opportunity on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, where they will collaborate with students from across the DCDSB and work with our Faith and Communications departments to create the poster design for next year's spiritual theme. The deadline to fill out the interest form is Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 8:00 p.m.
